Planetary Gearbox

Spur Gearbox
Spur gears have straight teeth and are mounted on parallel shafts. Available in different sizes and gear ratios to meet different speed and torque requirements.

Bevel Gearbox
Two types of bevel gearboxes, spiral and straight.
These gearboxes are not as common as spur and planetary gearboxes. They are usually installed in a right-angle configuration with a vertical axis. This occurs due to a helical or spur tooth match between the two gears.
Bevel gears are compatible with wind turbine systems with right-angle configurations. The most beneficial aspect of bevel gearboxes is their ability to be used where right angle gearboxes are required.
Helical gears have specially angled cuts that allow for progressively smooth contact between each gear tooth. It offers fairly quiet operation. Gearboxes with helical gears are suitable for wind power plants with high electrical performance and high efficiency.
Helical gears make wind turbines run virtually noiseless and quiet. At the same time they are very efficient and have high horsepower.
